well, here's a little bit about me.

What I've been doing. Florida is very different than the Bay Area. People are simultaneously super friendly and/or horrifically frightened. The buildings are air conditioned. It feels so good to walk into a room that is 74 degrees when it it 98 degrees with 1000% humidity. Well ok, the humidity is not that bad. Yeah it's moist in the air, but I'm piloting a Ship That is Prepared. So you sweat a bit. Big deal. I definitely couldn't hack it doing a physical job out in the sun...and I appreciate those who can and do...but the heat is enjoyable if taken in proper servings. Yeah, servings. For instance a proper serving of sun consists of: The ability to stop sunning at any point, Water close by (drinking, but more importantly, floating.) The time I have spent floating in our pool has been recharging, to say the least. Nothing beats floating with eyes closed and feeling your eyelids get warm. Our pool is not heated. That means it's refreshing in the summer and a bit too cold to swim in the winter months. And the definition of refreshing is going from the HOT steamy thick air to the "just cold enough to be comfortable" water. Float until Pre-Prune and get out onto the hot cement. We went to Wal Mart (which is WHOLE DIFFERENT DISCUSSION) to get house provisions, and we got thongs for one dollar. Because the cement is too hot. Bugs: loud but I haven't been bothered (yet). I get about one proper serving of Sun a day.
