Natural wines, not just organic but unmanipulated wines, are important to a lot of folks. These are produced in small batches, with no sulfites and, in some cases with hand-picked grapes, is a growing trend. Isle noted that the Henri Milan Provence estate is farmed using biodynamic practices which stem from a belief that the soil and the farm are living organisms. It regards maintenance and furtherance of soil life as a basic necessity if the soil is to be preserved for generations.
