There are many people who are hoping to cure some pretty serious diseases with this research. Like me. Oh well. I guess we're out of luck.
The U.S. Senate on Tuesday strongly backed bipartisan legislation to expand federally funded embryonic stem cell research, but President George W. Bush has vowed to veto the measure as morally indefensible.
