Why HDTV is getting a fuzzy reception | csmonitor.com:
Last week, Congress passed and sent to President Bush legislation that would end all analog TV broadcasts by February 2009, meaning that today's analog TVs will go black.

It's about time we got rid of that evil analog signal. It's been a thorn in our side for decades. My question is: If a government mandate is acceptable when applied to our entertainment technology, where is the government mandate applied to our transportation technology? Will there ever be a mandate barring cars from running on gasoline?
